Here are some of the reasons<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Chronic Endometritis &#8211; inflammation of the uterine lining<\/li><li>Polyps ( see page on Polyps)<\/li><li>Fibroids (see page on Fibroids)<\/li><li>Any other obstructions or problems blocking the pathway to the egg or implantation<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There are three methods of checking the uterus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>HSG (X-ray)<\/li><li>Saline Ultrasound<\/li><li>Hysteroscopy (camera go in)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Diagnosis of Inflamation <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Testing Blood to check blood count and presence of bacteria or inflammatory conditions <\/li><li>Swab &#8211; taking a sample of the culture in the cervic to check for bacteria or disease <\/li><li>Discharge test &#8211; discharge taken to a microscope to check for inflamation <\/li><li>Biopsy &#8211; small sample of the lining is taken <\/li><li>Laparoscopy or hysteroscopy to look into the uterus <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treatment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your doctor determined what caused your uterus inflammation, you may be prescribed with antibiotics. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are many reasons why so many smart patients have evaluated their uterine cavity prior to IVF.
